On December 9, accompanied by leaders from the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Province and Qingdao City, the German ambassador to China Dr. Patricia Flor and her delegation visited the historic old city center of Qingdao. Ms. Kaehler, GM of the GECQ, guided the short walking tour together with Prof. Zhu Yijie of Qingdao University. They gave an overview of Qingdao’s history as well as insights on various aspects of life in early Qingdao.
